The Big Wiki Merging Thread

So the Scrooge McDuck Wiki's goal is to be the ultimate and all-encompassing encyclopedia of the Mickey Mouse/Donald Duck universe. But there are or were several more niched Wikis, which I intend to get to merge with us. Here are things so far:

DUCKBURG WIKI (www.duckburg.wikia.com)

• Subject: Duck comics — Barks/Rosa universe only. 

• Status: Merged. 

DUCKTALES WIKI (I) (www.ducktales.wikia.com)

• Subject: Both versions of DuckTales.

• Status: Undecided.

DUCKTALES WIKI (II) (www.ducktales2017.wikia.com)

• Subject: DuckTales 2017.

• Status: Founder agreed to merge, I've imported all their files to $MW and sent the request to Wikia Staff. Still waiting for their answer. 

RESCUE RANGERS WIKI (chipndale.wikia.com)

• Subject: Everything Chip'n'Dale.

• Status: Created by our own Drleevezan for unclear reasons. We're going to merge it pretty soon. 
• Update: All files have been imported to SMW, request has been sent.

DONALD DUCK WIKI (donaldduck.wikia.com)

• Subject: Everything Donald Duck. 

• Status: I've messaged the main admin, who is reluctant. 

EPIC MICKEY WIKI (epicmickey.wikia.com)

• Subject: The Epic Mickey franchise.

• Status: I've left a message in the Forums, we'll see how it goes. Not optimistic though. 
• Update: Main admin has agreed to a partnership between wikis, but not a merge.

MICKEY MOUSE WIKI (I) (www.mickey.wikia.com)

• Subject: Mickey Mouse? I… think?… 

• Status: Abandoned since forever, barely a few pages of garbled nonsense. I've left a message on the talk-page of the founder, on the off-chance, but more probably we'll just wait a little while, produce the unanswered message, and ask Wikia to merge anyway. Which in practice will mean little more than mickey.wikia.com becoming a redirect to $MW. 

MICKEY MOUSE WIKI (II) (www.mickeymouse.wikia.com)

• Subject: The 2013 Mickey Mouse series.

• Status: The wiki is twenty-something pages, half of which are troll-pages about Spongebob Squarepants and Ren & Stimpy. For reasons that escape me, though, the main admin refused the merging, arguing that we were too silly for having pages on Aladdin and Black Cauldron characters. We'll see how it goes but he's just being contrary.
• Update: Main admin has refused to merge, because we have refused to rename the wiki 'Mickey Mouse Wiki'.

MICKEY AND FRIENDS WIKI (www.mickey-and-friends.wikia.com)

• Subject: The entire Mickey & Friends franchise/universe. So… basically the same thing as us, really. More restrictive crossover policy though. 

• Status: Well over a 1000 pages, so it would be quite an undertaking if we do go through, but I really think we should. Of all the Wikis here they have the most overlap with us. I've consequently sent the founder (whom I know from DeviantArt) a message. She's not responded yet. 
• Update: Sarah does not wish to merge, but would like to help out on the Scrooge McDuck Wiki.

DUCKTALES NEW COMICS AND GAME WIKI (www.ducktalesnewcomics.wikia.com)

• Subject: The 2010 DuckTales comics and the DuckTales Remastered video game. 

• Status: Not entirely sure why this exists. It was created by our friend KOME, and long abandoned. I've shot him a message. He should be open to reason. 
• Update: KOME has agreed to merge, files have begun to be imported to SMW.

A GOOFY WIKI (www.goofy.wikia.com)

• Subject: Everything Goofy. 

• Status: Created by the same guy as the Donald Wiki, so it's probably an all-for-nothing deal. We'll see. 
• Update: Main admin says that he will consider the merge.

WIKIMOUSE  (www.disney-mickey-mouse.wikia.com)

• Subject: The new Mickey Mouse cartoon series.

• Status: No response as of yet. 
• Update: Main admin refuses to merge.

MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE WIKI (mickeyclub.wikia.com)

• Subject: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

• Status: Merge request sent to main admin, no response yet.

MICKEY MOUSE AND CO. WIKI (mickeymouseco.wikia.com)

LEGEND OF THE THREE CABALLEROS WIKI (legend-of-the-three-caballeros.wikia.com)

• Subject: Legend of the Three Caballeros

• Status: Created by Drleevezan, who agreed to merge. Pages have been imported, request sent.
• Update: The merge has been completed, LOTTC Wiki now redirects to SMW!

• Subject: Various unrelated Disney properties
• Status: Merge completed, Walt Disney Comics Wiki now redirects to SMW!

• Status: No response yet.
